Olivier Consultancy is responsible for collecting, processing, storing and safe-keeping personal and other information as part of providing a service and carrying out our regular business activities.

Our Privacy Statement governs any kind of processing where we are acting as a data controller or co-controller (including collection, use, transfer, storage and deletion) of personally identifiable information (any information that may be used to identify a physical person, and any other information associated therewith) about natural persons. This statement applies to our processing of data collected through any means, actively as well as passively, from persons located anywhere in the world. 

We are guided by the following principles when processing data:

Information Storage

If you provide us with your email address it will be stored, along with your first name and surname, social media handle via Mailerlite. Mailerlite have their own privacy policy and will protect your data. You can find out more here: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal data with trusted service providers and technology platforms where necessary to operate our business, provide our services, communicate with you, analyse website use and carry out advertising, subject to appropriate data protection safeguards.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides that processing of your data shall only be lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:

• For the performance of a contract
• For compliance with a legal obligation which we must perform

We collect data for the purposes set out above. Data is managed to ensure that it is either erased from our system when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, retained for legal reasons or minimised and retained. 

Any health data collected from you has special protection and is limited to that permissible by law. In all instances where special category data is collected we will obtain your express consent.

Links from our site

Our site contains links to and from other websites which are operated by individuals and companies over which we have no direct control. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy and terms of use polices. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. We advise you to check the policies for third party sites before you submit any personal data to the website. 

We use Google Analytics and other thrid party platforms to operate our business. Any recording of calls will be via Zoom and we do not give consent for Zoom to use any recording for AI training purposes.

Marketing emails

We will make it as easy as we can for you to opt out of unwanted processing, providing it does not restrict our ability to provide you with the primary service you have requested. We use Mailerlite for all our email marketing.

Please note if you wish to unsubscribe from any marketing emails that you have signed up for, you can do so by emailing hello@olivier-consultancy.co.uk or clicking onto the unsubscribe link on the marketing email that was sent to you. It may take 24 hours for this to become effective.

Website analytics, cookies and targeted advertising

We use website analytics and advertising technologies to understand how people use our website, improve our services and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

This may include tools provided by third parties such as Google Analytics and Meta Platforms, including the Meta Pixel.

Where required by law, non-essential analytics and advertising technologies will only be activated after you have given your consent through our cookie consent settings. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings available on our website.

Meta Pixel and Meta advertising

We use Meta advertising technologies, including the Meta Pixel, in connection with advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Where you have provided the required consent, the Meta Pixel may collect information about your visit to our website and the actions you take while using it. This information may be shared with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for advertising measurement, audience creation and the delivery of relevant advertising.

We do not intentionally send special-category or sensitive personal data to Meta through the Meta Pixel or other advertising technologies.

Meta processes information in accordance with its own privacy terms and may process personal data outside the UK or European Economic Area where appropriate safeguards are in place.

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website, including which pages are visited, how visitors move around the site and how they arrived there.

Where consent is required, Google Analytics will only be activated after you have chosen to allow analytics cookies or similar technologies.

Information collected through Google Analytics may be processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy terms.

Managing your preferences

You can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies and tracking technologies through our cookie consent settings.

Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before your consent was withdrawn.
