Kate Kurdziej is an award-winning business consultant, retreat strategist and host of sold-out business retreats in Spain, shortlisted for Best Business Retreat at the UK Retreat Awards 2026.
Kate Kurdziej, Founder of Olivier Consultancy
Kate is based in Spain, and spends her days supporting female founders to design and deliver retreats that are both commercially successful and deeply aligned with the life they want to lead as well ahs hosting her own business strategy retreats.
With over 15 years’ experience in business operations and strategy, Kate helps retreat hosts create the structure behind a sell-out retreat, from offer design and pricing through to marketing timelines and sustainable delivery. Her work bridges the gap between a beautiful retreat concept and a retreat that fills with the right people, profitably and with ease.
As a working mother and the host of her own business retreats in Spain, Kate understands the desire for a business model that creates more space, not more pressure. Through her consultancy, she helps women build scaleable businesses that support freedom, calm growth, and a lifestyle-first definition of success.

As Seen In:

Prior to having her son Oliver in 2020, Kate made the decision to step away from a demanding career in finance and a workplace culture that no longer aligned with the life she wanted to build. As she entered motherhood, she knew she didn’t want to return to long, high-pressure hours that came at the expense of family time and personal wellbeing.
In September 2020, Kate founded Olivier Consultancy, initially supporting service-based business owners with the operational structure, systems, and boundaries needed to grow without burnout. Over time, her work evolved into a deeper focus on lifestyle-first business models, helping founders create businesses that support freedom, sustainability, and space.
As a business owner and lifelong travel lover, Kate has always been drawn to the idea that work can be expansive rather than restrictive. Her career and experiences have taken her across South Korea, Morocco, New Zealand, and the United States, and in 2021 she relocated from the UK to France with her husband and young son.
After navigating the realities of post-Brexit relocation and building a business internationally, Kate eventually found her home on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. It was here, surrounded by the rhythm of slower living and the power of in-person connection, that retreats became a natural extension of her work.
